I am a PhD student in Physics at Politecnico di Torino and a Visiting Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz.

My research addresses the atomistic modeling of Rare-Earth Barium Copper Oxide superconductors, developing and implementing Machine Learning Interatomic Potentials to investigate the microscopic features of radiation-induced damage in fusion environments, from thermodynamic and defect properties to large-scale Molecular Dynamics simulations of collision cascades. My current work at MPI-P deals with improving short-range repulsion description in MACE and with error-driven knowledge distillation methods for performing predictive, faster, large-scale simulations of fusion-relevant collision cascades and defect evolution.
